Park vendors were forced to close their businesses at Occupy San Diego on Monday. The vendors stopped handing out free food and really ticked off the protesters. The carts were urinated on and tagged with graffiti. So when you complain that hot dog from the street vendor tastes like piss - you may be right.
A report was filed after the rape of a 14 year old runaway girl at an Occupy Dallas protest. Hard to find the humor in that. Hopefully Texas justice will be swift.
Occupy Wall Street at Zuccotti Park has had it's share of crime. There have been reports (and arrests) of men entering tents and attacking sleeping women. In response organizers have set up "women's only" tents as safe havens for female protesters. If only the victims had thought of labeling their tents before the attacks, darn it. Now let's hope the signs aren't viewed as advertisement.
Occupy Oakland has been the protest receiving the most headlines for violence and apparently it's not just because Raiders lost to Denver last week, but I'm sure that didn't help. This NY Times article details some of the problems that law enforcement has encountered there, including a fatal shooting.
